Example of Fibers

These are polymers having strong intermolecular forces like hydrogen bondings. These strong forces lead to choose packing of chains and thus they have high tensile strength. Therefore these polymers show sharp melting point.

Example of Fibers: Nylon, Dacron, Silk etc.
